Does anyone know if these will bolt in without cutting the floor, moving the e brake cable and all that. I want a set that will bolt in that I can go back and weld when I am done with other parts. This is for a 1962

I know on my '66 it had to come through the floor a small amount.
the e brake,I removed that long ago,so I'm no help there.

Well Joe, which ones did you buy? My bolt ins bolted right in no problem (3rd gen), but I think the weld ins you need to cut the floor.

I have the weld in ones that move the front hangers in 2 ins.I took a med. sized hammer to the new floor pant that I installed and did not cut it.If you want to see pics I'll send ones of both sides.

I did not buy any yet:D. Looking for answers first if you can believe that. I want the bolt in for now and will go back and weld them when I have everything else done.

I just dont want to do anything crazy to this car. It's a 62 and in good shape. The body lines are very good and don't want to bend it up.

Pics are always good! I would call CE and verify the clearances.
