I thought I would post these pics in case they might help another 3rd Gen owner interested in modern lap belts. The old mounting spot for the optional shoulder harness on my '71 is in the right location for a reasonably comfortable shoulder/lap belt, but needed a bracket. These are what I rustled up out of a 1/8" corner brace with a 9/16" nut spot welded on the back.

They bolted right up to the original mounts with a pair of 5/16 coarse bolts.

And finished off hidden by the new headliner. (they look blue in the pic for some reason, but are really saddle tan)
