2nd Gen 12 bolt Nova rear...?? Help quick!!

Hey guys...I think I may have stumbled on a 2nd gen Nova rear...but I didn't want to show how "Interested" I was...and in my dumbfoundedness....I forgot to look at alot of stuff.

The rear is mounted in a 63' two door, it has 215/15 inch tires on it...stock steel wheels. The tires don't stick out past the rear quarters or anything, they are flush with the quarter. I measured the rear...but forgot what the heck it was!!! I know.....:mad: The guy told me it was a posi...it sure was...I took off the cover, and the spider gears were welded together!! He quickly dropped the price from $900....to $200....he wants it gone, as he's setting it up for drag racing, with a 4 link.

Questions...what are the chances that I've found a 2nd gen 12 bolt? Any other tell tale signs I can look for? I'm positive it's a passenger car 12 bolt...Thanks in advance....

Get the numbers and letters off the passenger side axle tube.

Buy it now.. 200.00 is cheap.. if its not what you think... I will give ya 200.00 for it.. if it fits under a Gen 1 Nova.

yea buy it a 12 bolt housing empty is worth that.

The rear needs alot of work!! It has more arc weld on it than the titanic!! Guy calls today, and says he's not ready to sell it yet, but will call me later....:mad: Thanks for the responses!!
