Th250 ?

im wanting some info on the TH250 box. ive been given one by a friend of mine who no longer needs it because he has now gone onto a manual 4 speed. are these boxes any good? what are the good and bad points? can thay be built for 500hp?

Had one. was great behind a small v6, but i put it behind a mild 305 and it lasted about a week. Dont know if anyone makes performance stuff for it. Just easier and probly cheaper to put the money into a th350, and come out with a stronger trans.
