Quick Transmission Plumbing Question

Working on my tranny cooler setup and I was hoping somebody would tell me which oil port is supply and which is return on a 700R4.

All Gm transmissions the lower port is the supply (Oil Out).
Top is the return.(oil returned from cooler)

Note: On a old GM truck transmission that has a back and front port the rear is the supply.

EXCEPTION: There are 2 years of production on 200 metric that is opposite.
