radiator question

i currently have an inline 6 in my 71' and the radiator needs to be replaced. i am going to be putting a v8 in it sometime this summer. if i buy a radiator for a v8, will the inlet and outlet be in the correct places for the inline 6?

V8's are top drivers side, bottom passenger side.... the summit direct fit aluminum.... is a excellent choice @ 260.00?

thanks......thats the arrangement that the 6 has rigtht now. are the v8 radiators much thicker? i have about 1" to 1 1/2" between the fan and the fins.

a 2 core 1" tube aluminum radiator from summit.. is the same physical size as a 4 core copper and brass....... I imagin yours is a 2 or 3 core.... mine is 3.25" at its widest... the tanks @ the weld seams... the core is 2.5"
