Well, i broke down and bought the disc brake conversion for my 65 II, i also bought 4 speed bleeders, and i ordered there new calipers.. cant wait to get em and bolt em on.. as always great guys to work with.. this is the second set of cpp brakes ive installed, i had a 70 Nova before my 65.. so hopefully will go good.. have a little plumbing to do with the brakes, my car only has the single master on it.. fun, fun..

If you were considering changing to silicone brake fluid, during the disc swap would be a good time. I like the fact that it will not damage the paint and does not absorb moisture like the regular fluid does. Some have found the pedal to be a but mushy with the silicone fluid.

I put DOT5 (Silicone) fluid in mine when I rebuilt the braking system and didn't notice a problem with a mushy pedal. It's great stuff!

Not having to worry about spilling it on the paint more than makes up for the small number of people who report mushy pedal or low fluid boiling point issues with DOT5 fluid.

I've got CPP brakes on my 65 and I think it may be the best single addition to my car yet.

Ditto. Love the extra stopping power.

I put one on my 65 as well but haven't driven it yet. Turned into a rear swap, mini tub, etc.. etc..
