How much are a set of 461 heads worth?Could be bolted on with just lapping of the valves, but would be best to have them reworked

It's a tough sell for sure....I think the general consensus is it's not worth sinking the money it costs to rebuild old iron heads. The $$ required can get you into an aftermarket set that will outperform any of GM's old castings right out of the box.

That is a good point.I have had them for 15 years and haven't used them yet(used vortecs).
