Back into Novas.... sorta...

Hey guys... been a while since I posted here... spring is in the air, starting to see cars on the road again - saw a nice 67 El Camino last night in Edmonton. Figured I'd show what I've been working on.... sorry... not a Nova... pretty far from in fact :) I'm working on the wife to eventually let me buy another Nova for the fleet... as I tell her this will be my commuter car and the Nova will be my "toy" as we live about 10km from the local drag strip.

Preparing for an engine swap... taking out the ~50hp 998cc and replacing with a ~90hp 1293cc - a far cry from my 327 lol... but I can honestly say this car is as much fun to drive, just in a different manner. Cornering with this is like a go-kart... its sick.

Anyways, figured I'd say hi and stuff...

I'm just south down in Beaumont. Was living north side near Londondarry when I had my '63 Chevy II... was a flat black 2 door post. But we bought a house so no nova now... miss the car tho, the mini is good but just doesnt throw you back in your seat the same :)
