Haven't heard of that. I do know they had a problem with a shipment of barrels so they are way behind on production. I just got a set and they are good looking wheels!! The centers are pretty thick so I don't see how they would just crack?

That never seemed to slow down the sale of Weld Drag Stars--I know a few guys that ran them on Chevy S-10's and Ford Rangers, and they broke the spokes out of them a few times!

Just exactly what was cracking, the weld, the rim barrel, the center? I am just about to mount my tires.

Does any one have, or are there any photos of the cracks? I would be curious to see where the cracks are occurring from a manufacturing perspective.

They look way to nice to send back. I figure that the SFI rating has to mean something, I wasn't real worried about it. Maybe somebody that bought em is blowing it out of proportion so everybody doesen't buy em. haha

I hated buying these things now when The car won't be ready for the streets for another year or so. I don't want them to be on everybody's car by then but I got all 4 wheels, 15X14's out back 15X4's up front with valve stems and front lug nuts for $1031 Shipped (with $100 discount). Where can ya find a great looking wheel like that that's SFI approved for that kind of money?

Nobody buy em cause they're gunna crack and you will crash burn and die :pray: LOL
