power steering

In my 64 ss I have manual steering is there a steering box that you guys are using to change to power steering or will I have to get the assist setup thanks in advance for all your help

to stay original the assist ram power steering would probably be the ezest and cheapest,I have orig. p.s. on my 65 wagon and really like it

they sell power rack conversions and such depending on how deep the pockets are

I am not aware of any bolt ins

Actually you can buy power steering boxes now. I e-mailed one company, Ground Up I believe and asked:

"Do these steering boxes act like a newer box and not like an assist sytem that my 64 came with? Meaning all I need is the box, two hoses, and pump and I have power steering?"

The response was "yes add hoses and a pump and your good to go".
