I've recently purchased a '70 and am wondering if I should part with some of the non essential components to aide with my rebuild. It has a pair of factory black buckets from a '69 Chevelle in great condition, standard shift transmission pedals, complete ss trim and other goodies that I haven't sorted through.
SO....
What should I ask for this stuff... if you feel that I should sell them at all. The trim is original SS but the car is just a basic powerglide/ inline6 from the factory so I would not be destroying its originality. But then again, I wouldn't be able to obtain such stuff after I let it go...

I'd say sell them to someone who has an SS car so they can live again..Then use the extra cash flow to put towards what you want to do with your car..It all depends on what YOU want to do.

Figure out the grand plan for YOUR car- so you don't leave YOURSELF
short.

I've done favors and sold off stuff to raise funds a few times only to need the stuff later- at a much greater cost.
