Year: 1965

Model: Chevy II Nova (SS clone)

Body/Exterior: Stock with Fiberglass 2" Cowl Hood.

Front End: Rebuilt stock (for now anyways, thinking about a TCI IFS)

Engine: 283ci .060 (292 cu) 2.02 Camelback heads, Torker II intake, big Crower solid cam, Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition.
Transmission: all new Muncie M-21 4spd with new Centerforce clutch and blowbell.

Rear End: Narrowed 12 Bolt, 4:56 gears with posi. Steel axles.

Exhaust: Hooker Supercomps with Flowmasters.

Wheels/Tires: Centerline Convo-Pros 15x4 w/145's & 15x10 w/295-50's.

Interior: SS buckets (console is wrong I know)

Electrical: Stock, Optima Redtop Gel battery

Accessories/Options: Diamond Cut headlights, 16gal Fuel Cell in trunk.

Sound system: Old stereo in dash for now.

Comments: Supposedly was built by Roland Leong (Hawaiian Punch Funny Car fame) in the early 90's for a friend. That's what I was told anyway.
I am planning to do a new interior, new paint, disc brakes, A/C and change the engine to something more "street friendly". Also a swap to 3:73's and either 17x7, 18x10 or 18x7, 20x10 Combo. Goodmark Steel Cowl hood (currently fiberglass). Going "Pro Touring" instead of "Pro Street". All depends if the Tall T gets sold, that's where the money is tied up. Bug has just been sold.:D
Oh yeah, seatbelts so the kids can go cruising also.

Thanks, the "poser" eating popcorn is my 2 year old and the "driver" is my 5 year old. Took them around the block in the cars, first the "T", then the Bug and they were excited, then we went around in the Nova last and they were screaming and yelling with excitement the whole way! It sounds mean and is pretty darn fast considering it's only a 283.:D

Thanks for the offer Irie. I live on the Big Island and our strip is still going strong, Oahu guys fly there cars up here now. Maui's track is also still going.
Burty, the number 3 is the safety check sticker, the state makes us get a safety check every year (helps them make money I guess) also keeps cars legal and insured. Thats what they hope anyway.
Thanks for the cool comments guys...:D
