ok heres the car build as close as i can get, im trying to make this car as street as i can but really am fairly new to all of this, im hoping you guys can give me some good suggestions on where to start. Im currently in iraq so i wont be able to answer reply's very quickly but give me a week or two and i will be able to check the site a little bit more regularly. thanks guys. Oh yeah pics to come as soon as i can find a computer with cannon software haha :)
The engine is a built 358ci SBC. The combo starts with fully Professionally ported Dart/World Sportsman II Iron heads(2.05/1.60)(64CC, angle plug), Fel-pro Race head gaskets, port matched Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Fel-pro 1205 intake gaskets, ARP head bolts, Comp Cams Magnum Series Hydrallic camshaft advertised .286 duration/490 lift, Cloyes True Roller Timing chain, Crane roller rocker arms, TRW Forged pistons, Forged Pink Rods w/ARP bolts, Speed Pro Moly rings, Clevite Race bearings, new Summit crankshaft, Balanced rotating assembly, Melling High volume oil pump and ARP tool steel Oil shaft, Moroso lightweight fuel pump pushrod, Holley 130GPH mechanical Fuel pump, Braided AN lines from pump to regulator to carb, Painted Cast aluminum valve covers, 750 Holley carb, HEI distributor(timing locked), Accel super coil, Accel 8.8 Spiral Core race wires, MSD 6AL, Degreed Proform Balancer cover, I'm sure there is somemore stuff that I'm forgeting.
The tranny is a built TH350 with a hardened outer sprag, shift kit and a 10" TCI Street Fighter Converter and a external tranny fluid cooler.
The rear end is a 8.5" Corporate 10 bolt w/ 4.10 gears and a rebuilt GM posi unit. All New pinion, carrier and axle bearings as well. ( does have a little gear whine)
The Car has Dynomax headers and fully aluminized dual exhaust with Flowmaster Mufflers out the rear of the car.
IT has Weld Draglites on all 4 corners. 15x5 in the front and 15x7 in the back with BF Goodrich 255/60/15 tires on the rear.
