im fixing up a 1973 ss clone with 350 and four speed. my question is how noticable are the differences after installing the frame connectors? its just going to be a driver. no drag racer. but i would consider installing them when i have the rear end out for clean up and new springs. ill be posting pics and story after my new ansens and goodrich t/a s arive. look forward to the expert input available here. thanks

Hey Chaz, I personally do not have them installed, but if you search the posts, you will find out that almost everyone who installs them says that there is a big difference in the ride and handling. Even the guys who are just running street cars. They are also really inexpensive as well. Search the posts and read up about it. I am sure others will start chiming in. Take care, Billy.

I installed the CE subframe connetors two winters ago after my big block install in my '70 Nova.
Used the bolt in variety (with no welding) and they have performed great with no issues........and this is with over 500 hp

I bolted in a set I found on Craigslist for $75 while I was installing new leaf springs and shocks. When I had my exhaust system installed I had them weld up the front connectors for added security. It's hard to say where my improvement came from since I changed several items at the same time, but I'm convinced they've added a lot and for $75, I figured it was a relatively inexpensive mod. I would recommend anyone add the frame connectors...Pop-A-Top

Greetings,

I made my own but have used the Competition Engineering subframe connectors in other vehicles without any problems at all. It's probably one of the cheapest and best things you can do to your car.
