Howdy, I stumbled across this site, there is a lot of good info here.
I have a 74 2 dr coupe that I bought when I was 17. It has sat for a number of years now, the time has finally come to give the old gal attention. In the very near future I will be converting the brakes to 4 wheel disc, as well as putting a new bushing/grommit set in. I fully rewired it a few years back with a painless kit. It had an anemic straight six and a saginaw 3 speed when I bought it. I had a 400 and a 350 laying round so I put them together for an un-bored version of a 383 (:sleep:actually math comes out to 377, but when you say 377 people assume it is a destroked 400 not a stroked 350). needless to say the 3 speed couldn't hold up (neither could that Mustang that I beat when i shelled it:devil:). Now I have a beefy TH350 with a B&M starshifter and a holeshot 2000 converter. It came with factory 3.73 gears. In the distant future I will be switching to a 6 speed.

I look forward to conversing with all yall (yes I'm from Texas, Its the only state big enough for me and my ego :D)

Let me first say welcome to Steve's. My name is Billy, and I am from NY. I can tell you that this is the best site to frequent if you are a Nova owner. Everyone is pleasant and always willing to help a fellow member out. Good luck with your 74' and remember that here on Steve's, we just love the photos! The more the better. Take care.
