Hi all,
I've been lurking around and reading some great posts for awhile now. Thought I would finally chime in and say Hi. We actually have the sun out today. Only the second day of sun this year. .. We get lot's of rain so when the sun comes out... We NW folks take full advantage  It's a great day !! The folks from the other Washington, "DC", get much better weather though :(
This sight is great and thanks for having me.

I do have a few Pic's of the toys. They are in my Photo Bucket Link at the Bottom of my Signature. I only have a couple pic's ofthe Nova and niether are are great shots so i didn't post them direct. I have some decent ones of the other toys but didn't want to get razzed too bad by posting them since they are of the Chevelles, Camaro & the Coupe - ( 34' Ford 3 Window but all Chevy underneath). I know a True Chevy Head appreciates all Bow Ties but didn't know if it was appropiate being this is a Nova Guru sight and I'm a newby:confused:
By all means take a look. We love the cars and spend lot's of time and effort to keep them nice. Plus I'm lucky enough to have my better half share the same Muscle car itch... :D She comes to all the shows and races...

good morning to a west-sider. that's why I enjoyed my time in central washington - no rain. :) but it is much nicer living in phoenix, where I can drive the nova 360 days a year. :D

Hi Billy,
Thanks for the welcome,
The rain isn't as bad as people hear and read about but it does rain A LOT. We have had a few days where the sun has come out for an hour or so but then it was pouring before the day ended. The news said we have only had the 2 days of "recordable" sunshine this year... Whatever that means. I am just guessing but i would say we have 60 or less days a year that I would consider a warm beautiful day. And that 60 is being pretty generous. The Eastern side of our State ( couple hour drive over the mountains ) averages 300 days a year. What a difference a couple hours and a mountain Range can make...

I'll take rain over snow storms anyday. But some sunshine would help the spirits.

Thanks for the kind words. :) I like your Wagon. I've always liked those. Unique and they make a statement !!
The Chevelle has a mild Big Block now so it needs a little squeeze to see the 10's but it's best ET is 7.90 @ 179 on ET Streets through the Mufflers. That was with a Pat musi 632ci.. She is just a poser now that we go to the Friday night burger joints with. Still fun to drive.
The Nova will see her first 1/4 mile runs this year. Currently run the 1/8 @ 6.50's with no squeeze and easing it out to a 1.90 60'. I will run slicks in the 1/4 and try 1 or both shots of juice this year. It runs a 496 with a dual stage. Pic of the motor in the Photo bucket link.
The Camaro had my 540 in it but was too much for the car, even with the 29 15.5 Sportsmans. Plus the Block is half filled so I could drive it on the street. I get some street driving in now. The 6-71 is temporary. I have an f1R that I haven't used yet and it will be going on later. Just wanted to drive with the Huffer for awhile. Plus I need to modify my fuel system for the Procharger. Have everything, just need the time.
Sorry for rambling :( It's like a disease when talking cars. Luckily my other half is into it as much as myself so I don't get the eyeroll  for being addicted but it's nice to share things with some folks that have the same motorhead disease. I know..still rambling.. hope I didn't take up too much space with the size of the Pic's.

Man dont be sorry for talking about what U love to do. Heck U should see it when I get excited about my car. I can talk U ear off.
Yea with mine I have been a best of 6.47 in the 1/8 mile with a fried T-350. With a best 60' of 1.41 and top speed of 106.6 mph. So we are figuring with the new PG and bigger stall(5800 vs the old one at 4500)she might run some 6.20's. WE HOPE! Keeping my finger's crossed.

Hey Carl,
Thanks for the words:)
That was at Mission actually. But it was a couple years ago. That power plant was courtesy of the guys form Auto Truck Service down here in the Everett area. They took the same Set-up (close anyway)and stuffed it into their 2001 Firebird. Got her down to mid 6's @ 200+ before selling everything. The car now is respectable with a decent BBC but nothing like her old days. We enjoy some local street cruising and doing some local shows now. The itch is always there to throw a Big Motor back in it but it's sooo nice to be quick and not have to turn a wrench on it then to be Fast and always turn a wrench. Plus the Camaro and Nova are always asking for attention. You know how that goes...
Take care ..

Welcomed aboard, Fat Tire!
It looks like we're both at the extreme ends of weather. You guys have more water than your streets can drain, and we have the most of the sun to evaporate our lakes at an incredible rate.
See what I mean >>>> http://www.lwvnm.org/Water/Gutzler.pdf
Anyway, that is a nice collection of fat-tired cars.

Wow, that is a little scary when you look at the future outlook.:( Hopefully the Earth is just going through one of her cycles that they keep showing the history of. I've grown up in this NW so I'm always craving more sun & Heat. I spend several days a year on our Eastern side wher it's a lot nicer. I imagine the Heat down there can really cause havok on your car. No skimping on the cooling system:D

Factory finishes on cars must be waxed more often and kept away from the sun for extended periods of time. It sort of has a bleaching effect on paint jobs.
But the worse off are our folks in Arizona, for during the summer, they do not have the advantage of altitude terrain to temper the hot summer temperatures. We're always between 4 and 7 degrees cooler than they are...so if we're at 110 deg F., then they are somewhere around 114 - 117 deg F.
Is where the  :skull: vacations...:D
