My name is Cameron as some of you already know. I first got into Nova's because my grandpa had one. While still in high school, I somehow managed to buy a 64 2 door hard top from a frustrated seller, he hated the car and needed money for drugs......as it turned out:rolleyes: Before I was able to hear that built 327 fire, I had to sell it:( there was a little one on the way.
Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be in the military. I enlisted in October 2003, 3 years after I graduated high school. I had a late start partly because I got married right after high school (March 2001) and hopped on the "lets have kids" band wagon. After I got laid off I finally decided to join. Now, still married after nearly 7 years, I have 3 children. Ages 6, 4 and 3. I have recently acquired my grandfathers 65 Nova which I am working on every chance I get. I am also very happy to say that I got my dad into this hobby, he has a 63. As of now, I am scheduled to deploy before summer starts (you know I can't say when and where:D) so I won't have too much time to work on the car, got to spend time with momma and the little ones. They come first, but stay tuned....and take a look at my link to the pics of my Nova. It is a work in slow progress but it sure beats having it sit in the weather where it sat since 1991!!!!

Welcome here, newbie:D

Good to hear your story. Now get out and work on that car...

I guess one of these days I better get over my shyness and do an intro here, too!

Cameron,
Thanks for the intro, it's always great to read one from someone we've seen on the site for a while. Our thoughts will be with you when you head back overseas this summer.
