Power Assist Steering Question

I recently installed Power Assist Steering in my '66. I remember when I drove it with maual steering the wheels "recentered" themselves fairly well after making a turn. Now with the power assist I have to bring the steering wheel back to center myself. The power assist itself is great. Makes parking a dream.

The question is:
- Is this normal for second gen's with power assist?
- Do I need to make an adjustment?
- Or is this a sign of worn out parts?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Have you had the car aligned recently? It could also be misadjusted caster.

It should be realigned anyway since I put the different centerlink in. I will have that done as soon as possible. Thanks
