73-74 contest

Who has some shots of the coolest 73-74 Nova? It seems to me like everyone who owns one either way overdose them or theyre jacked up and raked like 1978 with mudflaps, 14" rims that stick out the side and fuzzy dice on the rear view. This may be acompanied by a hot tape deck and a super cool equalizer. So really who has shots of a 73-74 done right? Wheels tucked under the quarters, maybe minitubbed, maybe procharged? Maybe EFI, maybe all of that?? Post your selection for coolest 73-74 now......

Well let's see...my wheels and tires are tucked under the wheelwells, no EQ or anything like that since I have a radio-delete dash...and I have to think mine looks rather good.

He's had my vote for quite some time.

My 74 is going back to stone cold bone stock. The white walls say it all.


My 73 is one of those "Frankencruisers" that were mentioned. "Where were you in 82?"

Here is a few from last year. Ill snap some more when the weather breaks. The molding looks crooked in the pics but they look fine in person. How do I get my pics just to show up like Jasons?

top. Ive seriously considered this move.

Thanks,,,I wasnt sure on the top but I have grown use to it and really like it. The only thing I dont care for is the body side molding.

My 73 has the correct stance,a little higher than stock and even all around.blue with black stripes down the hood and trunk.and it does have the fuzzy dice.I will be posting pics shortly.

I guess I'll have to be out of the contest until Spring when I can pull Greenie out and take a few decent pics. :(

Hi I'm new here and here are some pics of my 74 nova.It has a 421 sbc with afr heads,glide,9 inch and nitrous.Best pass to date is a 9.65@143 through the exhuast on street tires.

its a driver folks drove it from ca to ks after i left for iraq and that was its third time across. broken lots of parts but i kep it together.

The hubcaps were originally on my dad's 70 SS. He sold the car in 72 with mags and kept the hubcaps. The 73 came originally with the moons, but dad didn't like them as much and swapped them : )

I must admit, they are a sharp looking hubcap! :)

That is incredible! Very nice! I thought I was doing well with a stock (except wheels/tires - have the originals) 53,000 mile car.

i think you all should get a prize there is something bad as- about all of them. from the get happy air cleaner to the fat tire ride or the tire that fits just right also you have to love the wheels up pose maybe the smokie burnout or the all orig look all i know is i built mine to enjoy i have put thouands of miles on it and everytime some drives by and gives the thumbs up it fells good to know someone likes your piece of art.

Well as said before, nothing special here. Older pics (last year) and still waiting for me to get out there and get to work on it. Got most of everything to get it done, but no idea when I'll have the coins to get it painted. :( Had the money once, but the State of Michigan popped me for buying smokes over the internet....would have been a pretty good paint job. ($5500.00 :mad:) Anywho, here is what we got.

What color is your car? I know green, but what shade ... it's beautiful when the sun hits it.
