+1 on moon shiner look. I dig it. All you need to do know is to load up with some illegal wiskey and start hauling balls.

I love my old wheels too. But I put some draglites on it to put it lighten it up some. Also lowered it some too. Best time to date is a 10.30 @ 130 w/ 1.5x 60ft.

Heres a current pic.
Some love the new look, but im partial to what it was before. I still have the rallys.

what size turbo / injectors are you running???

Master Power GT45 running 15psi, and 60lbs Mototrons. If I remember right the injectors are running at about 50-60%

I like the new look, How ever I LOVE the old look better.

For the track keep the lighter wheels. For the show I would use the old look.

Great looking car.....

I liked it better with the rallys. What did you do to get that size wheel and tire combo to fit??

I like the new look. Draglites are my favorite, but I liked the ralleys better though. Just looked more sinister with them... Nice car!

The slicks on the draglites were cashed, so I put some new ones on the rallys and the rallys are back on. Got a bunch of videos of it at the track this weekend and last weekend, hopefully i'll get them uploaded tonight.

here they are:

The draglites got 29.5x10.5x15s on the back, then this weekend I ran the rallys at the track (second part of video) those tires are 29x12x15s

http://www.mcmaster.com/ go to page 16 I used those, schedule 10 pipe fittings. Due to the heat/stress/pressure on the hot side of a turbo it works perfect. Might be on the heavy side for a natural aspirated setup. They weigh about the same as factory exhaust manifolds. Stainless 304.

awesome car, awesome motor, awesome wheels either way, love the rallies,

here's an idea, powdercoat the draglites black.anyone ever seen it done?..

i've got some and i've considered it,
i saw some front draglites 15X3.5's at beech bend, in bowling green kentucky that were black on a 68ish camaro, not sure if they were powdercoated or what but they looked sharp... something different besides the polished shiny aluminum which is cool and classic...but the black was different and sinister looking and i dug it.

Nice car...while Draglites are nice, the original look is sinister. It's one of those "if you mess with me you'll get bit" looks. Wear the Draglites to the track, and the rally's to the drive-in.:yes::yes:
