Name is Jason, I reside in sunny Southern California(909 aka "valley of the dirt people" for the locals:D) My screenname says "4dr" even though my Nova is a 2 door. I started using this screenname about 8 years ago when I had a Galant VR4. I ended up getting a SRT4(also a 4dr) and by the time I got the Nova everyone knew me as "slow4dr" so I just kept the name. I sold both the turbo 4 cylinders and I now have a Magnum SRT8, '92 Civic commuter/beater, '56 Pontiac Chieftain Wagon(mama's ride), '97 Dodge Ram and of course the Nogo.
I bought the Nova about 4 years ago and originally planned on building a drag car. I actually had a Toyota 2JZGTE mounted in the chassis with a 76mm turbo and a powerglide. The plan was to run 8.90's @ 150+ with the 6 cylinder in PSCA. I ended up deciding I wanted to try my hand at turning so I sold the heavy 6 cylinder and began planning for a complete chassis overhaul. Probably for the best since the 3F3F movie came out and all the drama it caused. For the last year and a half I have been going the route of a "G-Machine".
My father has had 3 nova's since I've been alive, a '64 with a 327 that ran low 11's back when Riverside was still around, a '62 straight axle BBC that ran mid 10's at Fontana and he currently has a '65 Wagon with a 327. His screen name here is "Class of '65".
I've worked at Chaparral Motorsports one of the largest motorcycle/ATV/watercraft dealerships in the world, more recently I was employed with Banks Power and I am currently employed by wellll ummmm.........
Been married for 8 years and our first born, a boy is due on March 16th. SO I may as well put the car up for sale. :D
