Front Tire Size on a 70 Novadiesel_turbo 6th-February-2008, 01:56 PM Currently I have 215/75/R15 tires on my 7" corvette rally rims. The tires rub on the frame when turning corners (it is a wonderful sound). So, it is time to replace the tires. What is the max size tire that I can put on? I had 215's on there in the past and they rubbed at the very extremes. Bluesman 7th-February-2008, 12:28 AM 235/60R15 on 7.5" rims with 4" backspacing. I also have a disk brake conversion kit which I think moved them out a little bit but I didn't measure to be sure. I know of at least one other 3rd gen with exactly the same setup as mine and his fit too. Dave |
