I was hoping someone with a 73 and maybe even a 74 nova with disc brakes could get a picture of their spindle and steering setup. I have a set of disc brakes and were told they are from one of these years, other people want them for the rear steer setting in the 68-72 years. Just want to see what I have. email me any pics anyone could get, I would greatly appreciate it. fetters8705@yahoo.com

Hi 72 Rally Nova,

The 73/74 Nova disc brake setups are identical to 69-72 ... these years are all rear-steer.

The parts you have (pics that johnh posted) appear to be from a front-steer application such as a Chevelle, MonteCarlo, etc. They're the style with the bolt-on steering arms so they can easily be converted for use on a rear-steer car by simply swapping the car's existing rear-steer arms over to those spindles.

First off, thanks John for posting those, it would have taken me about 3 days to get them on the web from here..dial up. And awesome, now that you say it, I remember a monte carlo that had these on I believe but couldnt there for a while. So in fact, these could work for any third generation then you say, if swapped with the right arms?
