Year: 1973
Model: Nova Custom Hatchback
Body/Exterior: Ford Ultra Blue Metallic with Ford Silver Frost stripes
Transmission: TH350 with all TCI components, violent shift kit, and a TCI Super Street Fighter converter
Rear End: 8.5" 10 bolt with an Auburn Gear Pro center section and 3.42 gears
Exhaust: Flowmaster 50 series 3 chambers with pipe that runs all the way under the rear bumper
Wheels/Tires: 15X7 and 15X8 Weld Draglites with B.F. Goodrich Radial T/As...195/60/15 up front and 255/60/15 in the back
Interior: Factory bucket seat interior with radio delete, tilt wheel, and a few Auto Meter Sport Comp gauges.
Sound system: Just those Flowmasters...Don't need a radio and don't have a place in the dash for one anyway!
Comments: This was the second car I ever owned. I bought it in September of 1992 and drove it daily for a few years. I sold it and in 2000, I tracked it down and bought it back. It was pretty well trashed, so I tore it completely down and rebuilt it. It took a long, long time but it finally got back on the road. It was originally painted this color scheme in 1988 and I liked it so much I kept it. I have a love/hate relationship with it, but now I'm driving it daily as long as the snow isn't around!
