Model:Whatever the bare bones strippo model is called

Body/Exterior: Ugly red oxide primer, emblems were shaved many years ago. Dirt, oil, and trans fluid are usually found on most surfaces.

Front End: Global West Drag Race tubular control arms--Lakewood 90/10 shocks

Transmission: TH400 built by Leo Glassbrenner, Hipster transbrake, Munsinger 8" 6000 stall converter.

Rear End: Moser 12 bolt w/4.30's, spool, 5/8" studs hanging from Calvert Split-Mono springs and Cal-Trac bars; QA-1 adjustable shocks.

Exhaust: Jack Davis Step Headers(1-3/4"--1-7/8"--2") into 3 1/2" Dr. Gas X-pipe with Borla Sportsman 3 1/2" mufflers.

Wheels/Tires: Ancient Centerlines 15x3-1/2" front with 165 radials. 15x8-1/2" rear with 28x10-1/2" M/T slicks

Interior: what's left of the interior--was blue on blue; seats are worn out gray 80's Mustang 5.0 junk

Electrical: Rat's nest/bundle of snakes. 140 amp alternator to keep up with electric water pump, BG400 fuel pump, transbrake, line lock, electric fan, etc........

Accessories/Options: Day/Night mirror is the only option that came on the car--it had a dealer installed AM radio, but that was tossed many years ago.

Sound system: N/A (see exhaust section above)

Comments: It's ugly as sin, but runs pretty good when it runs!

It was in Hot Rod magazine last month--intake manifold test story.
I had a rod bearing problem, so the engine is apart again, but it should be running again soon.

Well,
I'm not sure, but something got in there and tore up the #6 bearing. I was thinking maybe when I was beating up the car on pump gas, it was detonating and kinda hammered it. Everything else looked ok.

I looked at that car in the Hot Rod mag. The coolest picture ever was a shot from the back of the car. When it was beeing driven with all the cars around it:yes::D
