I finally got a chance to take a picture of the car with the snorkel hood on it. Spent all day driving the car today since the weather was decent (high 40s). yea thats cardboard covering half the radiator. when its freezing out up here the car doesnt like to get up to temperature so cardboard and a six cylinder fan solved the problem.

haha thanks. ive been trying to get my hands on one of these hoods for a long time now and one finally turned up for sale close to me. trying to give this car the older look. i have some slot mags im gonna clean up to use for rear wheels. havent decided what to use for front wheels yet. i want to put green tinted lexan/polycarbonate windows in the car as well.

Last sumer there was a guy running a Chevelle with a big pro stock type scoop. he lost his hood one round (not sure why) and came back out and ran faster with out the hood. Makes you wonder if the scoops are worth the drag they create.
