I should have introduced myself before I posted a few times, but I guess its never too late. Names Matt, most call me buck. Im a 16 year old high school student and work at the local golf course from the march/april until the end of october/early november Last year I had a good sum of money saved up and bought me a 73 nova with a 350 from a friend of my fathers. I haven't done much except put some 12 inch glasspacks on it, Ran it with straights under the cockpit, wwaayyy too annoying there. I just clamped the packs on but I want to finish the exhaust to where it won't resonate so much inside. My main concern before anything is the body, even though its not bad (being a former fl car) Even though i can be considered a redneck or hillbilly where I live, Modding the engine and exhaust before the body just aint right. The car has a rust hole on the rrq and some rocker spots that I want to take care of, along with rust on the edges on front fenders where they meet the windshield. I dont know if this is a problem with all novas or just 73/74. I am considering doing the cutting and welding PPs on the body myself but don't really have the tools to do so, since dad was an electrician not a body man. If ya got any tips or suggestions on my nova to give me, any at all, thanks.
Buck

Hi.... Good luck with the Nova, and please feel free to ask away. Everyone is happy to help. You may even meet some people that live close and can give a hand.
