My name is Steve short for Stephen and the zone part is a play on words for the old Kawasaki Z1 motorcycles that I ride. I’m sorry I don’t own a Nova. I have a red hair stepchild called a 63 Acadian Beaumont wagon. I retired from the Canadian military last year and now I work part time in a hardware store, the rest of the time I wrench on my old beaters. My lovely wife Kat and I have a son Kyle who’s 7 and we belong to a Baptist church I also belong to Big Brother and I’m matched with Connor 13. Both boys go to cruises/car show with me in the summer but I never take them together to be fair to the big brother concept of one on one and undivided attention. I also collect coke crap and old vinyl.

71 H1 500 triple w/ 72 H2 750 engine in it
72 Z1 900 (preproduction but not original) 1105 wiseco overbore
73 Z1 900 chopper
74 Z1 900 w/ 1393 monster block "hot rod"
as you can see i can't leave anything alone.

I had a friend with a triple....he was the one who turned me on to them about 20 yrs ago (its all his fault for my addiction)... You got to love the sound of an outboard two stroke attached to a street bike....and man did those things haul *$$ when done up right. :devil: Welcome to the site…..I have to say being a fairly newbieian myself you have come to the right site!!!!:yes:

Steve, what year is your CJ7? It looks good. I have a '79 CJ7 Narrow Track in pieces, stacked in my garage. :D:D

my cj7 is a 78 Levi renegade. originally came in blue with bluejean seats even had the levi button on the seats. everything has been replaced or upgraded over the years. i had this beast for over 20 years. the body is glass, motor is a 70 Lt1, has a granny 4 speed and gear driven transfer case both out of a 1 ton chev. rear axle is a dana 44 and both axles have lock rights. i painted flames on the front in the spring and i need to rewire but it's almost done, right now its a place to park parts to get them off the floor.

You had a Kawa 500 SD and survived? I had a 75 Z then moved on to a 79 Honda CBX. Still have it - 25K miles and perfect. Most fun I ever had at 155.

I used to have a Kawasaki "Mach III" 750 triple 2-stroker back in the late 70s - early 80s. It was an awesome bike.;)

they were crazy bikes. my first bike was a 70 H1 500 and i always regretted not keeping it. i came across a tracy body in a bike wrecking yard many years ago and desided to make a bike under it. the frame is a 71 H1 500 the rest is a 72 H2 750 with various parts from other old kawi. the fiberglass tank disentigrated many years ago and i found a 71 original tank so i'm in the early stages of glassing in the new tank. she will be a runner this year. those denco stingers howl
