This is an unbelievable true tale that unfolded this weekend
writing from the snowy middle of the country. Denver Colorado

I'm a newby to Novas but can't help but want to share my find.
Just picked up a 1965 Chevy II. It was "grandma's car" and when she died, the grandson got the car. He drove it from Idaho to Denver but it broke down along the way. Probably pushing it too hard over the Rockies with that little six. That was nearly 15 years ago and it's been sitting in a garage since. All original paint, interior...
SO - officially - I'm a second owner. And the best part - cost me $600.

To make it even better, I somehow stumbled upon a guy who is moving NOW and needs his garage cleaned out. He has a 350/350 set up just sitting there in the way. It came from an old hotrodder who died before he could put it back in a car. PERFECT condition.
So I bought it, along with a cherry picker and two Cragar wheels with near new gooodyears.... all for $200.

So, to date, four days into my project, I've spent $800 (OK, I order motor mounts for $80)

My only concern, considering the history behind these parts.... Is it nearing my turn????
