Hello there.

My name is Jed and I live in the Reading PA area and I have been into Novas since I was 15. I bought my first Nova (1971) with money I earned at Mc D's. I had the car finished for my senior prom and was that a night/morning to remember. I blew a trans 2 days before the prom and my best friend, to this day, helped me put another one in the night before, which turned into an early morning. Soaked in trans fluid, at 4am, the trans was out and new one was in. I achieved my goal that I had set when I was 6. That was to take an antique car to my senior prom, with or without, a girlfriend. In 1999, I sold the car to go back to college and I bought a survivor 1970 Nova. It was Seamist Green, black vinyl interior, 3spd on the column, with a 230 6banger. I had more fun with that then I did with the beefed up 307 in the 71. I made a Motion Clone out of that car and I still have it today. I now own a total of 4 Novas, a 69 Camaro, and a 55 Bel-Air. This is a hobby that has turned into an obsession and I can't seem to think about anything else but restoring cars. I do like a lot of other things, but I am more focused on the cars. It consumes a good portion of my time, but I love to do it. I am currently redoing a 70 Nova that I am trying clone like my 71. I am going to paint it code 26 with a 756 or 757 Dark Blue interior. I don't see too many Novas with the Dark Blue interior and I think it would make for a good combo. So if anyone reads this, and they have the Dark Blue interior in their car, send me a pm!

Trust me, I have a lot of Pics of my current projects and future projects. I just have to learn how to post them on here. I am finding a lot of good info on here along with good people! Some info that has helped me already was a confirmation on seat tracks for buckets I have. I found out that they are 69-71 Nova tracks! A big bonus for me and they didn't cost me a thing!:D

Thanks for all of the positive feedback! Can you believe that someone said that I was nuts for doing the Nova like that??? I never did appreciate my own work, but that guy had no taste whatsoever! It's been 6yrs since I painted it and it's starting to show. I need to pay some attention to her, again. I think it would be worth it considering all the comments.
