TURBOBOOSA 26th-January-2008, 02:54 PM I JUST JOINED THE FORUM AND WANTED TO SAY HELLO TO EVERYONE. I JUST PURCHASED THIS MOSTLY ORIGINAL 1968 NOVA II 307 AND I'LL BE HERE ASKING QUESTIONS TO FIGURE OUT SOME THINGS WITH IT. I DO KNOW IT'S ONLY BEEN PAINTED ONCE AND THE WHEELS AREN'T ORIGINAL, I THINK IT'S A PRETTY GOOD STARTING POINT.

CAR HAS ALL ORIGINAL PANELS AND NO RUST AT ALL, CAR HAD BEEN IN A GARAGE SINCE 1989...
Nova_Guy 26th-January-2008, 03:00 PM Cool car you couldn't have found a better year. 68 are one of the most unique years because of the 69 DOT rule changes. Look in the originality area and look at the differences between 68 and all the other 69-72 cars.
davidr5610 26th-January-2008, 03:00 PM Looks like a very clean start, how much did you pay for it? It looks like there's a huge dent in the driver's door? Or is it a reflection?

OldGuy 71Acadian 10th-August-2008, 12:02 PM Hey Turbo, Wecome to Steves
My first nova (actually Acadian) was a 68. Still kicking myself for getting rid of it. My favorite of all the years. I was just in Indy visiting family. (wife from Indy.) Maybe I can stop by next visit.
Good Luck, Joe. :canada:
