Hi guys, 1st post! Ive been cruising the site for hours, a lot of good stuff! I have an offer on the table to trade one of my motorcycles for a 74 hatch. Was wanting some feedback on the year and to see all the pics I can!

I think I am really interested especially after checking out this site. Also, any thing I should look out for or know about this model

stuff I would watch for?

Lift the carpet up or look underneath the car at the floors... wouldnt want to have to replace them;):D

Look out for rust in the fenders, quarters, trunk, where the front and rear windshield meet the front and rear dashboards....

No funny noises from motor/trans....

Make sure the thing can accelerate like it should....

Stuff like that:D:D:D

I found out the hard way:o

And good luck with it!:) (how to post pics is a good thread in the site news section:D for when you get the nova:D)

Thanks for the tips! The car is in primer right now and he told me up front there was a little bit of rust in the hatch area.

Im not wanting to build a show stopper out of it, more a cruiser that I can drive and enjoy...and stripe up the pavement from time to time  Ill post pics if it goes through!

Greetings,

I'd love to have one of those tents for my '73 just for fun. It'd be great just to make people stare. The only real issue is that the last one I saw went for over $1000! Oh well.

Jason
