Did a standard 71 coupe with a 350 come with 4 bolt mains or just SS cars?

Thanks again for the help

Standard 350's had two bolt mains.

Probably neither; the SS package didn't mean much as to the engine. In earlier cars you could have a 6 cylinder SS.

Hi,
I may be wrong on this, so don't kill me but:
I believe that all 350's in the Novas were 2 bolt mains, SS or not!! I owned a few and the ones I had, One was originally bought by me was a 2 bolt main and so were the others. PS This does not count the LT1's in the yenkos.

You are wrong.
I had a '69 SS that came with an L48 - 350 with 4 bolt mains.

OK, thanks guys. Im just trying to find out more about my car. It came from the factory with a 350 and turbo 350 trans. Both the car currently still has. It does have a 4-bolt block but Im not sure if it is the same motor that came in the car. The heads and trans are correct though. Ill have to run the numbers on the block to be sure but i still havent found a build sheet yet.
Thanks

If the block hasn't been milled, resurfaced or swapped, check the VIN number between the block and the body.
