I have a friend who is selling some bucket seats out of his 68 ss these are black with the headrests they are the original and in good shape the only cracks i can find are when you fold the seat up you cant see them otherwise they come with the tracks also. what should someone ask for these?

300-1500 on ebay, depends on how bad someone wants them, if they were blue id be all over em

If they have headrests I don't think they are 68's. 68 was the only 3rd generation that didn't get headrests. They were standard in 69.

I agree with "Nova Guy" in that the 68's did not have head rests.

68's DID come with headrests but it was late in the model year. GM knew that they were going to be mandatory in 1969 so late in the 68 model year, you could order them. I have a 68 with original 68 seats (one year only) and they have original headrests. My car was built in late June 1968.
