"Instant funny car kit" Info

I been searching all night for a old mag. article on on the instant funny car kit. I think its Hot Rod but I could be wrong. I might have a line on one and it would be nice to do a little reading on it. All Google keep come up with is reference to it. Thanks Guys

try calling/PM'ing "Mike Weddle" (member name TechGuy) he's the senior tech specialist at ChassisWorks, they have a clip set up for guys who're going straightaxle....

Well the thing is Johnny,I was/am going to do a simple 2x3 tube setup. But a guy I work with,knows a guy,who knows a guy,who knows a guy:rolleyes: That has one those original kits he is looking to sell. I still need to get his #. I heard of this kit,But know nothing about it. We'll see how this plays out.

When they built the one for Steve, Medlock was supposed to start producing them for sale but I think he dropped the ball and it never happened. Someone on here posted about a guy in Nor. cal. making a kit.
