This a question for those that have TCI subframes on First Gen. Nova/Chevy II's.

Before placing an order for a TCI sub, I'm wondering if anyone has had problems with the 2" dropped spindles?

Also, I'm wondering that limitations with tire size/width are caused with dropped spindles? I want to end up with a car that can play in multiple fields, the "1320" as well as autocross.

Any turning radius problems, like fender rub?

Thanks,

Ed

I don't have a TCI but the only problem I have read about with drop spindles is the limit on brake rotor size.

How would the spindle limit rotor size? Are you talking thickness or overall diameter. The only thing that should limit overall diameter would be your wheel. On my 2" drops I can run stock 9 1/4" up to 13" rotors. I'm

Don't know either. I just keep reading it on disc brake sites.:confused:

I have no problems with my 2" Mustang II drop spindles.
