Deep dish on a stock 10 bolt rear

I have a stock length 10 bolt and want to put 19x11 wheels on the rear. Right now I have drums, but will convert over to disc. I want to put a deep dish wheel. Something like a 6" lip.... Will I need to cut and narrow the rear end? Will I gain more clearance /backspacing going from a drum to disc?

Its a 74 converting to a 72.... I am in the process of tubbing. i have a mock up tire of 305/25/20..... I think a 20" is too big....

Oh yes, you'll need at least a mini-tub to fit an '11.
And you'll definitely need to narrow the rear...looking at my '72, to fit 6" of front-spacing, I'd need to knock 3" or so off each axle tube. By the time you deal with narrowing, new axles, etc...you may as well upgrade to something better as well!
