onephatz28 12th-November-2007, 10:07 PM My buddy has a lot of suspension and chassis parts
from his 67 Camaro that he want to give me. I want to know if anything would work on my 73 Nova
THANKS FOR ANY HELP
Jason628 12th-November-2007, 11:23 PM Greetings,
Front suspension items will, since the '67-'69 Camaro and '68-'74 Nova front subframes are virtually identical. I'm not sure about any of the rear suspension items, but the rear ends will swap.

I thought 73-74 was different because the bumpers??? might check that when you do the whole thing...;)
2doorpost 13th-November-2007, 01:40 AM Most of that 67 Camaro's underpinnings are a bolt on fit under a Third gen. 68-74 Nova. Go for it.
firebird69racer 13th-November-2007, 04:02 PM Nope none of them will fit, you will just have to give them to me instead.
Thought you were talking about a 67 Nova not a Camaro when you told me about it.
onephatz28 17th-November-2007, 02:18 AM LOL :D I hope to get the parts this week
my camaro will be done so I would like to start on my nova
SerdarD 17th-November-2007, 08:55 AM 67-69 Camaro front end chassis parts will 100% fit 68-74 Nova.
I used 70 nova's chassis on 67 Camaro. Rest ofl the parts was Camaros. And everything fit perfect.

Nova_Guy 17th-November-2007, 10:27 AM Do you have nova in Turkey?I spent two years in Turkey when I was stationed at Incirlik AB. Turkey is a very beautiful country, I really enjoyed my time there. I'll have to see if I can find a couple pictures to post. We went down along the coast to Castle by the Sea and I spend a few days in Istanbul. I have an Uncle that lives near Yalava.

batman09 17th-November-2007, 12:04 PM Very nice pictures!!Great work!!!Your English is outstanding!!Where did you learn to speak English so well?thanks bm
shaggy 17th-November-2007, 12:21 PM I bought replacement leaf spring front brackets for a 67-69 camaro and threw them on my Nova. I compared the new brackets to my old broken brackets and they were exactly the same and I have them on the car and it sits fine. Someone once swore they were different and that they wouldnt work but I have been running them for 4 years no problem.
SerdarD 17th-November-2007, 02:01 PM I learned English in school life, and interesting muscle cars need to learning process that you must read and read magazines in English. Btw i stayed in Statesboro,GA for six months in 2002 and traveled all east coast. From KeyWest,FL to WatkinsGlen,NY.( I was in Nascar at Glen Speedway :D )
