Hello, I'm a new guy here and to fixing up cars. I bought a 71 Nova with a 350 and i'm slowing working on it. So far it has a rebuild 350 4 bolt main, SRP pistons .30 over, Crane cam 230 duration 465 lift, crane rocker rollers and valve springs, Weiand Intake. 750 Edelbrock carb, alum radiator, and duel electric fans. The engine bay looks pretty bad right now but it's functional. i am tackling the body work this winter and have no idea what I'm doing. Mind you I'm only 16. I'm not exactly into the whole import scene like most teenagers. But anyway just decided to say Hi.
For being only 16 years old, you have one bad ***** ride my friend:D:D Now go beat those girls off with a big stick......keep the good ones around though;)

Welcome to the site:D Looks like you have a pretty nice project. When you get started on the body work, Just ask any questions you may have. There are alot of very talented people on this site that will guide you through the process;) good luck to you and don't let the body work intimidate you. It's really not that hard.

Get yourself an ebay account. Sell the vinyl top trim and anything else you do not need. Then start ordering the parts you need next. Earl

Haha, the Front and back damage was like that when i got it i don't know what the guy hit. i worked construction all summer and at a local store to save money up and get a car, i paid 2700 for it and drove about 4 hours to get it. A couple older guys i know restore muscle cars and they said they would help me out so that will help alot. the main thing stopping me is money haha. a buddy of mine down the street as a 10 second fox body mustang and he offered me a fox in better condition for the same price i think i made the better decision. i will be on here a lot. thanks for everything.

Bears fan, sorry haha. wait, no fun, i forgot.... my bad
But, this winter I'm stripping it to bear metal i think a friend of mine with a both said he would paint it for the price of the paint so I'm not sure if I'm going to keep that color or not, but i do like it. Should be an interesting project one day i would like to have it with black interior ( currently blue) buckets and a floor shift ( currently bench on the column) but that will be a lot money/parts to swap all that out so that might be a long-term dream. O well, i have a feeling swap meets will be my friend.
