Well I finally just about finished up my project..I have had a few threads on here asking for ideas, but now it is finished..Just the basics..
70 Nova (originally a 307)
383 Stroker
1.6 roller rockers
Comp Cams 268 Cam
AeroHead racing heads with 2.02/1.60 valves
M/T valve covers
and currently an Edelbrock 1406(probably swap out a Holley 750 this weekend)
Also this weekend we will be pulling the rear diff and checking the gears and putting in a Powertrax no slip unit. As this is my first attempt I thought I would posta few pics and see what everyones thoughts/opinions were and see if anyone had any other ideas for me..Please feel free to ask Questions..Thanks and have a good day..Joe

$250 for the pair! that is decent pricing, how do you like them? Did they bolt into the existing rails, or did you have to buy extra hardware?

Thank you all for the comments...I now however have a new issue to deal with..blowing smoke from the exhaust...I have checked the head gaskets..no issues there..even broke down and took it to a shop..they messed with the carb thinking that would fix it..no go...so for now the thinking by most of the people I have spoke to is that it is the valve seals..only problem there is that the heads arre new and came preassembled. So I will be calling that guy today and then it looks like I will be replacing seals this weekend..Will let you all know..Thanks Joe

I am running a beefup turbo 350 for now..in the morning or later tonight I plan to put the PowerTrax No Slip unit in the rear. Going to check the gears while I am in there..may beef up to 3:73 or 4:11 still not decided. As for dynoing the motor..the answer would be no as we don't have a dyno machine around here. As soon as it gets broke in I plan to make a run or two down the track to see how the car does..as soon as I do i will post numbers..Thanks for the compliments and comments..Joe

DAM KIDS lol i mean newbi engine builders, one time i think i was like 15 i put a 400 in a 1931 nash, i got the motor all set and fired it broke it in, well she didnt run so good at idle, come to find out i had the rocker tightend a 1/4 turn too much, since it got totalled and the motor got trashed imma rebuild it with a 360
