I got out today and dropped the gas tank. I was trying to drop the rear but as Murphy's Law would have it, I did not have an 11/16" box wrench. I will have to wait until Wednesday. Here are a couple of pics from today's progress.

This is the stand I fabbed up to hold the rear end.

Here I am underneath unbolting everything I could..

Here's the rusty old tank which will be discarded and under the car without the tank.

Small isn't the word! You almost have to be a contortionist to work on my Nova. And to think, I've been doing this going on a year and a half! I am kinda used to it now. I originally rented this garage for my scooter. That was until I found this 72. I wound up selling the scooter and put the Nova in it's place. With gas now back over 3.05 a gallon, I wish I had kept the scooter, but I'd never give up this car for anything. Billy.
