what does it take to get 350 hp

so what does it take to get 350 to 400 hp at the crank in a 350 out of a 74 nova and whats the best ratio to go with i would think 9 5 1 or a 10 1 not a everyday driver but if needed to take it to work it would be nice

that is exactly what this motor is... ported vortec top end and matched cam... it is a very cheap very good engine...

the reason I blame batman is because I was gonna buy this one for my yellow nova, but my funds fell just short of affording it or I would have bought it:D

an edelbrock cam head intake package and a good 350 short block and you are in the 400hp area, easy!

I am sorry, did you want to keep the motor you now have or were you open to a new motor at all?:o

Just an FYI, Mike Goble claims the Eddy packages didn't make near the amount of power they claim when he saw them actually dynoed in real life cars.

well l got a 69 chevy 350 Stock 150,xxx hard miles dyno'd at 290 crank Hp or do what l just did spend $900 for a 79 400sbc that sombody elss allready poured 3grand into thats 400+hp
