some one a while back told me that i could use most of the disc brake assembly parts from a third gen camaro...is this true???if so what parts??

You might need to give some more info on what kind of car and yr. you are trying to put them on.:confused:

im askin because i want to upgrage the old drums to discs....my neighbor is selling his totaled camaro and i was going to salvage some parts if possible....:chev:

there is an up grade to the LE1 disk setup, I read it when I was doing mine, I did not want to run 16" wheels because the LE1 is a 12" rotor. it is not a bolt on. it requires fabrication and milling skills.
this is a link for first gen camaro, but since the spindle is essentially the same as the as the 65 you might find some usefull information there

it is a shame you dont have a third gen... there is now a kit for $500 to convert to front disc brakes:)
