CPP sells both the normal style and their custom aluminum master cylinders. Or you can check Autozone or Chevy2Only.com

so a regular master is just as good

You can buy it from any one of CPP dealers, or if you are near Anahiem CA you can come pick it up from the showroom.

not here ta bad mouth anyone... money is the key to all things. check the prices on whatever unit yer lookin' at... then compare to yer local parts house. depending on what you need (disc-disc... drum-drum) you might be able to get just as high quality unit from yer local parts house.

the Corvette master cylinder is a std heavy duty, lg reservoir master that almost all brake specialty suppliers sell... as i said, depends on what ya need before a recommendation can be made

then in all honesty a std disc-drum, manny cylinder is all you need... check out yer local parts house. yer avatar looks like a 3rd genner... so ask for a '70 master, manny brakes, disc-drums...

you'll need the proper proportioning valve for the disc drum set up too...

If you go to the parts store ask if the master cylinder is new.
You will also need to get a proportioining valve for disc drum.

but dont i have to get a proportioning valve if you run the corvett one

DKN

You will need a proportioning valve if you have disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear. The rear brakes do less stopping than the front. Drum brakes operate at less pressure than disc brakes.
When you make the change to disc brakes in the front a proportioing valve is a must.

ok so if i got the cpp master that saying it has a proportioning valve built in it i dont need a a different valve . if i do the corvett manny i will need a disc-to drum proportioning valve

Yes, you will still need the correct proporting valve. If you buy it from CPP, tell them your setup and they will get you the correct valve.

The MCPV-1 master cylinder has the proportioning valve built in. You will not need a secound valve with it.:)

If you use an OE type master cylinder then you need a proportioning valve.

AAAAND, just ta confuse ya a bit more... i believe CPP sells the std style master you'd need... i believe in chrome if you wanted a little bling under there.

not bagging now... the CPP MCPV-1 is a WAY BITCHEN unit... but in all honesty you don't REALLY need that one. they do offer a more "standard" style that would not only fit your needs but save ya a ton of money...

here's "probably" the one i'd recommend... call Danny at CPP and get his recommendation...

M82016 Master Cylinder OEM GM style dual reservoir drum or disc brake unit. Ports: (a) 1/2”-20 (b) 9/16-18 1" bore, each Photo/Info $59.00

i'm sure he can hook ya up with a proportioning valve too... the price on this master, in my opinion, is a good deal... again, call Danny or whoever at CPP and i know they can hook ya up.
