It also lists Vaccuum power brake equipment (RPO J50) available from 1968 - 1979. It ****MAY**** have been possible to special order a manual front disc setup, but my guess would be that if you ordered front discs, you automatically would get the power assist option added. taz3 23rd-October-2007, 05:08 PM Yes both my 69's have power disc brakes. I think 68 was the only year power brakes were an option with discs. I believe, at some point, I read that manual disks were never available--which leads me to believe you are correct, the power assist was automatically added with the disc brake option. 1qwikss 23rd-October-2007, 06:32 PM my 69 was a manual, power disc brake SS. previous owner took manual out but it still has power. | |
