Antique Auto Restorer's Swap Meet, Oct 6

This coming Saturday/Sunday in Monroe (Evergreen fair grounds).

I will most likely be attending...looking for some old Model T parts and amongst other things.

Anyone else planning to attend?

Yep. I will be there in the car corral. I have a 66 Caprice big block car & a 64 Nova SS for sale. Both are pretty nice cars.

I'll be there Saturday for sure and possibly Sunday. With the forecast looking like it is Sunday may be a big rainout. Our location is on the backside of the small stage area on the Highway 2 side.

It's been a while...but did anyone pick up anything good?

I didn't find anything I was hoping to....
I picked up a few sets of cheap cork valve cover gaskets and a bunch of bosch type relay socket/harnesses.

Also an "AAaaoooooogahhhH!!!!!" horn for the 'ole ford. :cool:

Found a sweet pair of vintage slotted mag front runners....but he wanted $300 for the pair :(

Not a bad meet, just nothing for me this time.
I did see a few pretty sweet deals on cars (and some scary bad deals, too!). A few nice nova's.

The swapmeet was decent for a Fall swap. But per the last few years things keep rising in prices that do not equate to anything (fuel costs, vehicle values). Stuff is just the same over priced junk from the last 10 swapmeets most of the time.

I was able to sell enough to cover the costs of the items I did purchase while I was out there. I wasn't able to get rid of my Centerlines (my big $$ item) but they will eventually sell on Craigslist.

Maybe we can hook up in the spring.
