Well I got over 260 passes on my MT ET street radials. I just changed to MT ET streets (Bias ply) because I couldn't get the radials in my size for 4-6 weeks.
There is a big difference between the two but it still drives okay once you get used to the feel. I got to the track last night for a rare test and tune appearance and could only muster 12.00 @ 111 mph on a very cool evening. I have replaced the converter, the alternator, and now the tires. So now I wonder if maybe the valve springs are shot. When I redid the motor last summer I didn't replace the springs, only reset the spring pressure. Something to look at this winter. On a good note my 60' times were all 1.66-1.67 and ET's were fairly consistent compared to the roller coaster I have been on.
One last thing, I have been chasing a vibration for the past year, change the tires and the vibration went away. I had the old tires balanced and rebalanced so I didn't think they were the problem, but they were.
