Attn All Aje Subframe Owners -

PLEASE CHECK YOUR RACK MOUNTS! Took my brothers 67 out to the track last weekend. On the return road after his last pass, the entire rack broke off the subframe! Ripped the mounts completely off. Steering wheel just spins and spins.
Still not sure exactly how it happened, but this was just seconds after he made a high 8 second pass at over 150. Imagine if that was to break during a pass! Not good at all. I will try to get some good pics and post them soon.

Boy, AJE is going to wish they never answered the phone after this phone call.

WOW PLEASE POST the outcome on this one I was thinking, now I am really thinking about just keeping my original front end.

Just took a look at this front end and it appears the welds were very marginal at best. Not much more than tacked on. For a "race shop" I think AJE did a very poor job. Steve's very lucky to not have ended up in a very bad situation. I hope they're not all like this!
