Is there anyone who has installed a hydraulic clutch set up in their 1st Gen? I am trying to use stock pedals and a blow proof bellhousing. I have seen some set ups for 55's for $650. Was hoping that somebody has made something that works for $200-$300. Fabrication is not a problem. Any ideas?

There's been quite a few guys on here that have gone that route...you might try using the "Search" option. Otherwise hopefully some will chime in here and come to your rescue.

I used a 3/4 wilwood master and adapted it to the stock 2 gen peddles as far as the slave I am using a stock camaro set up I don't know what you would use for a blow proof housing but I am sure if you find what slave cylinder you wanna run you could fab up a bracked pretty easy..

Note I started with a 5/8 toyota master it didnt move enough fluid:o

All Great information. I did search the previous threads and found somemore good information. I am still learning how to use this site. Thanks for your help.

Looks like the Wilwood is highly recommended.

you could go with the slave or the hyd throwout, most use the 3/4 in bore MC either way. make sure you get the pushrod for the MC mounted at the correct location on the clutch pedal and use a pedal stop. itll be a nice setup when your done
